Objective: To show the use of local and regional dermoglandular rotation techniques in breast conserving surgery, and its oncological and aesthetis results. Methodology: Thirty patients with primary unilateral breast carcinoma underwent to oncoplastic surgery between 2013 and 2015 at Santa Casa de Belo Horizonte. It was used local e regional dermoglandular rotation techniques. Results: The average age of patients was 58,9 years old. The mean tumor size was 2,53 cm. Three patients had compromised surgical margins and all of them underwent to a new surgical procedure. The aesthetic result was evaluated by BCCT.core program and the results were excelents in 11 cases, good in 12 cases and regular in 07 cases. Six patients (20%) had postoperative complication. Conclusion: The use of local and regional dermoglandular rotation techniques allow extensive resections in breast conserving surgery, resulting in a satisfactory symmetry and a good aesthetic result without the need of symmetrization, with low postoperative complication rates and high rates of free surgical margins.
